Three Aunts Six Grandmothers is an up-and-coming travel and food channel on Youtube. Joy Lin, one of the founders of Three Aunts Six Grandmothers reached out to me through mutual acquaintances. With the mood board that Joy prepared I was all set to brainstorm designs. The group wanted to go more toward an old-fashioned Taiwanese branding style. Taking inspiration from neon signs and older food store signs as well.

Version #1One of the options given to the client played more with the idea of a neon sign and Barley used often in Taiwan. When working on a new project I start off by sketching out ideas first to get as many ideas as I can out.

When it came time for the clients to review the design options, this logo was chosen by the clients because it resonated with their original idea. By working together and communicating with my clients I was able to portray a clear message that their Youtube channel explores food and will explore the many foods around them while being surrounded by a strong female friend group.
